Join Across the Table for our second dinner in partnership with the Evanston Police Department. Our dinner with the EPD in October was a huge success- we were all able to learn more about each others’ perspectives and experiences while having a great time doing so!
For this dinner, we will be discussing the topic: What does it mean to take a risk?
Police officers take risks all the time, every day. But civilians do as well. We will talk about how risk-taking impacts all of us in our day to day lives and how taking risks can occasional be where the experiences of police officers and civilians intersect.
This special dinner will be taking place in the garden of The Barn Steakhouse in Evanston. Above is a picture of the space where the dinner is taking place. We will enjoy the natural light of the garden while also being essentially inside so weather is not an issue!
Thank you to The Barn for donating the space and generously making this dinner possible!
